COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course will explore what aromatherapy is, the long history, current
research into efficacy and safety of aromatherapy, various pathways
through the mind and body, properties, precautions, quality, purity,
and common uses for different essential oils, proper handling, methods
of use, "apothecary" (mixing your own blends), and a variety
of methods for administration. Upon completion of this class participants
will be able to perform a full body, 80 minute aromatherapy massage
technique which targets the central nervous system, and begin using
basic essential oils for common health and well-being.
